SHIFT

SHIFT is an open call for Colorado artists working in any two dimensional or three dimensional medium. This exhibition invites artists to explore what it feels like when something changes. A shift can be a turning point, a quiet realization, a spark of insight, or a collective moment that moves an entire community. It can be the change of a season, the change of a belief, or the change that happens inside us when we grow into a new version of ourselves.

Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme in a way that feels true to their own experience. This might include the movement of the natural world, the evolution of identity, the energy of social or political engagement, or the internal moments when something realigns. All forms of 2D and 3D work are welcome, including painting, sculpture, photography, installation, mixed media, and digital formats.

Exhibition dates: October 1 through November 1, 2026

Artist and public reception with juror award: Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 4 to 8 pm

Closing reception: Sunday, November 1, 2026 from 2 to 4 pm

ABOUT NKOLLECTIV GALLERY

NKollectiv has been operational since 2021 and is known for its highly curated collection of quality artists who work in unique and dynamic media. NKollectiv is located in the hip downtown district of Englewood as the anchor of the new art hub EASEL, which includes Englewood Art Studios, Events, and Lessons. The gallery is open six days a week with regular business hours and extended hours for public and private events.

NKollectiv exhibitions are promoted through art and lifestyle magazines, press releases, public radio sponsorships, social media campaigns, printed materials, and cross promotion with Englewood City partners.

Shipped artwork must arrive by Friday, September 26
