SMALL WORKS 2026
The Jag Gallery SMALL WORKS Juried Exhibit has become a highly anticipated and widely popular event showcasing work from an International field of artists. Letty Nowak, artist and founder of the gallery originally hosted this show in her first art space, Key West's The Lemonade Stand Gallery, in 2005. SMALL WORKS 2026, now in its 19th year, has steadily grown in significance and popularity ever since. The simple requirements are that artwork is current, original, and does not exceed 10 inches in any direction, (including the frame, if applicable) Accepted is 2D and 3D work; painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, textile, (no jewelry or AI please). Artists may submit up to six pieces for this call. The fee for each entry is $18. This year's show is, again, hosted by Jag Gallery at our brick and mortar location in Key West, Florida. All artists will be notified of jury's decision(s) on or about November 2nd at which time details will be shared regarding next steps. The exhibit opens with a special Holiday gallery reception on Saturday December 5th, 2026 continuing through January 10th, 2027.
Trophies will be awarded for Juror's Choice, Honorable Mentions (4) and a People's Choice Award voted for by the public. Awardees will be invited to participate in an AWARD WINNERS group exhibition at Jag Gallery during the 2027 calendar year.
Accepted artwork must be for sale and Jag Gallery staff is available to assist in determining the selling price upon request.
Artists are responsible for shipping work to and, in the event that work is not purchased, from the gallery. If accepted, you will receive all necessary instructions and protocol for shipping at that time. Please do not ship any artwork until you have heard if work has been accepted or not.
Accepted artwork must arrive in excellent condition and installation ready. Imperfections will be reason for disqualification (scratches, cracks, nicks...etc). Received artwork which exceeds 10 inches will also be disqualified. Kindly observe these guidelines.
When applying, please provide a clear image of your artwork. In addition to our brick and mortar gallery, all accepted work will be available for purchase via Jag's online gallery, for which reason images must be high quality and as clear a representation as possible.
