Indigo. A color for contemplation, introspection, wisdom, and healing. Once a highly-valued item for trade, a sign of wealth and royalty, Indigo dye appears in many cultural artwork across the globe. Today, the bold color invites the feeling of sophistication, smoky jazz halls, hazy fields of wildflowers, effortlessly chic blue jeans.

Webster Arts invites submissions for Mood Indigo, our annual color-themed show. Artists are encouraged to submit original, 2D & 3D work in any medium. No video.

Over the past 20+ years, Webster Arts has expanded its programs to include exhibits, workshops, our annual Plein Air event and Art Fair, concerts, and community engagement programs. The Webster Arts gallery features artwork from around the country. Regular hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 – 5:00 PM.

Artists are encouraged to submit original 2D & 3D work in any medium. No video.
